Entertainment news : Kat Graham to star as Jada pinkett-Smith in New Tu pac Themed movie, " ALL EYEZ ON ME "

The "Vampire Diaries" star will be taking on an important role in the Tupac Shakur movie All Eyez on Me -- she'll be portraying Jada Pinkett-Smith , Variety reports.

Jada and Tupac attended the same school - Baltimore School for the Arts - and were friends until his murder in 1996. The movie is currently filming in Atlanta, Ga.

Demetrius Shipp, Jr. is starring in the film as Tupac and The Walking Dead 's
Danai Gurira is taking on the role of his mother, Afeni Shakur.

No reported release date has been set for the film.
