The Minister of Information and National Orientation, AlhajiLai Mohammed, has described the wave of suicide bombings and attacks on softtargets by Boko Haram, lately as actions of hungry and desperate terrorists.
Lai Mohammed while speaking at a press briefing in Abuja,yesterday, said Boko Haram sect members were not only venting the anger oftheir hunger and desperation on soft targets but also trying to demonstratethat they were still relevant.
He also revealed a document that came in from the UnitedNations indicated which said that the body has released a sum of $58 million toassist 2.4 million people affected by Boko Haram-related violence from March2015 to February 4, 2016.
