A MUM who searched everywhere for her wedding ring found it – when she x-rayed her baby.
The boy’s father posted a picture of his son’s x-ray – with the ring clearly visible in the stomach.
The Reddit user wrote: “My wife couldn’t find her wedding ring yesterday, we decided to have our baby x-rayed just in case."
The 14-month-old boy swallowed the trinket as his mum washed in the bathroom.
His dad revealed: "She had it on the bathroom counter while getting ready. He must have grabbed it.
“Don't be too critical of us, he's the third. The third practically raises themselves."
Doctors advised the worried parents that the ring would pass naturally in two weeks, meaning a lot of rummaging around in dirty nappies.
In fact, the ring emerged nine hours later with no harm done to the little boy – and a lot of cleaning ahead for his mum.
Proud Dad wrote: "We can't believe how quickly it passed, and it didn't seem to cause him any pain on the way out. What a trooper. What a pooper."
On Reddit someone added: "Just remember; one day you will be asked to give a speech at your child's wedding. I would lead off with this."
Another commented that it would be "a great marriage proposal. Changing the diaper and finding a ring."
