Yeah, Boiling River, but I don't think It's Weird, it's just My God At Work
A mysterious, four-mile long river deep in the heart of theAmazon is so hot that it boils. The river has long been a legend in Peru, andwhen geoscientist Andrés Ruzo's heard about it, he thought such a phenomenonwas impossible. It would require a huge amount of geothermal heat to boil ariver, and the Amazon far from any active volcanoes.
But then, in 2011, Ruzo saw the legendary boiling river withhis own eyes. For some reason, the river has escaped much scientific scrutiny.But Ruzo is on a mission to change that.
He has published a book, 'The Boiling River: Adventure andDiscovery in the Amazon,' that publicises the river for the first time. It alsoexplains how the hot springs cause the river to boil, but then that’s his ownunderstanding. What will he say about the red sea? There are some things Godcreated, and only Him knows why.
