The defender is facing a fight to get into Jurgen Klopp's plans.
Watford v Liverpool - Barclays Premier League
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are considering allowing Mamadou Sakho to leave on loan this summer.
The Reds have been busy improving their defence this summer, with Ragnar Klavan and Joel Matip both arriving at Anfield.
Dejan Lovren also continues to improve under Jurgen Klopp meaning there is competition for places in that area.

Matip has so far been out injured, but should he prove his fitness then the German boss is planning to partner him with Lovren, with Klavan acting as back up.
Sakho picked up an Achilles injury in pre-season, and is also down in the German’s thinking after he sent him home from the tour of America earlier this year.

Since then the Frenchman has been working hard to prove himself again, but the Daily Mail reports that the club would not stand in his way should a suitable loan bid come in.
The newspaper insists that the club are not getting rid of the Frenchman; who only signed a new five-year deal back in September.
However, they report that the Reds want to see their man playing regularly to get back to peak condition and are willing to let that happen elsewhere.
