Power is always attractive to anyone but what happens when the most powerful men in African countries are handsome as well as butterflies? we get butterflies and knee jerks.


Even public office holders are handsome. These men are powerful in their countries and have women wishing to be called their lovers.


1. Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé – Togo





Born 6 June, 1966, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbe is Togolese president and has been since 2005. This dark handsomeness was Minister of Equipment, appointed by his father, the then president. He held the office for two years before he graced the presidential seat with his fine self after the death of his father in 2005.


2. King Mswati- Swaziland





Mswati was born in Manzini, Swaziland to a royal family. Born in the year, 1968. He was the only child of his mother and was crowned Mswati III, Ingwenyama and King of Swaziland on 25 April 1986 at the age of 18, becoming the youngest ruling monarch at the time.


Years later and still king, he is known for his adherence to polygamy. He has over ten wives and he is handsome enough to handle them all.


3. Joseph Kabila- Congo





Known commonly as Joseph Kabila, the Congolese president was born in the year 1971 and has been ruling Congo since 2001. He assumed office after the assassination of his father and was elected president in 2006.


The wickedly handsome president of the republic of Congo presidential reign will expire in November 2016.


4. President Muhammadu Buhari- Nigeria





President Buhari was born in the year 1942 and assumed office in 2015 after unsuccessfully running times in 2003, 2007 and 2011.


He became the first president to overthrow a an incumbent president in the history of Nigeria. The Fulani man is married to Aisha Buhari and they have beautiful children.


5. King Letsie- Lesotho





King Letsie is the reigning king of Lesotho. Born 17 July 1963, he succeeded his father, Moshoeshoe II, when he was forced into exile in 1990. His father came back into power in 1995 but soon died in a terrible car accident in early 1996.


This loss reinstated King Letsie as King of Lesotho again. As a constitutional monarch, most of King Letsie’s duties as monarch of Lesotho are ceremonial.


6. Jakaya Kikwete





Jakaya Kikwete was the fourth Tanzanian president. Born in the year 1950, the strikingly handsome man ruled a decade in the presidential seat.


Being an ambitious politician, he has held several positions and offices, including, being prime minister and vice president. He is a sports enthusiast and is married with five kids.


7. King Mohammed- Morocco





Born as the second child and oldest son of Hassan the second in the year 1963, King Mohammed was appointed heir and crown prince from the day he was born. This caramel toned handsome man ascended the throne in 1999 upon the death of his father.
