President Muhammadu Buhari has in a statement sent his condolence tofamilies of victims of the Maiduguri, Borno State bomb blast, which occurred onWednesday. He said the attack has further strengthened the federal government’sresolve to completely neutralize Boko Haram.
"I am disheartened by the news of the bomb blast inMaiduguri. My condolences to the families of the victims, and to the BornoState Government.
"Unable to hold territory, the severely degraded terroristgroup now occasionally resorts to cowardly attacks on soft targets. I commendour military for their unflagging efforts. This attack has further strengthenedour resolve to completely neutralize Boko Haram," he said in a state.
