Movies News : ‘Creed 2′ Targets a November 2017 Release Date

A sequel to Michael B. Jordan's hit movie Creed could be coming in November 2017!
“That’s my goal,” MGM CEO Gary Barber told Variety about the plans for a sequel.

The news comes the day after the movie's star Sylvester Stallone took home a Golden Globe award for Best Performance by a Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his work as Rocky Balboa in the movie.

“[Director] Ryan [Coogler] has some ideas of going forward and backward and actually seeing Rocky and Apollo together,” Sly said. “Think of The Godfather 2 . That’s what he was thinking of, which was kind of ambitious.”

Getting Ryan to direct the sequel in this time frame might be tricky as he is in talks to direct the upcoming Marvel movie Black Panther .
